RSL

We attended the REAL Salt Lake opening soccer game.  This was Ethan and Ellie's first MLS game.  Ethan LOVED it!  He was so into the game and became motivated for his up-coming spring soccer season.  Ellie had enjoyed the game and a HUGE bonus was the awesome 60 degree temperature and SUNSHINE!

On the ride down Ellie enjoyed choosing her own music on the ipod as well as a short nap.

Corned Beef & Cabbage

St. Patrick's Day
Ellie was so excited for "Leprechaun's Day".  (I'm not even sure she know's that it's called St. Patrick's Day).

Unfortunately Ethan was unsuccessful in catching himself a little leprechaun, but the kids were treated to a little mess and a little treat that was left behind.  Pictures are courtesy of Ethan.

Ethan use the bathroom and flushed before this pic was taken.  According to him there was green pee left by our visitor.

The leprechaun was nice enough to leave a little "gold".

Word on the street is my kids & hubs have a little Irish in their blood in them, so we had a traditional meal of beef (not corned), potatoes, cabbage, as well as some other veggies that the kids would eat.

Dare to Dream

When Disney on Ice came to Salt Lake we couldn't resist taking Ellie.  A Disney experience is always a new adventure at any age.
During most of the show Ellie kept her hands close to her ears in anticipation of "loud fireworks".  The last D.O.I we attended had loud fireworks so she was a little nervous for that.  Aside from that she LOVED the show!

Of course, her favorite was "when all the princesses came out".

Ethan's favorite was getting lunch afterward.

Live, Laugh, Love

More fun in the snow.
Now that we are a dog-less family, after a few feet of snow our backyard is a blank canvas.

Anytime the camera is out Ellie wants to be a part of the action.

Blue & Gold Banquet 2013
Bears

Ellie's (current) favorite past time.  Making pictures, cards, etc.
Art supplies is spread around the kitchen on a regular basis.

Daddy - Daughter snuggling time.

Mom's diagnosis turned out to be small cell lung cancer.  She is in the middle of receiving chemotherapy and is responding well.  Ellie and I have been traveling up to help out and take mom to her treatments.  Ellie brings sunshine to all of our lives.

The Next Generation:  Ellie and I got to spend an afternoon with the Kings.  Ace LOVES his "Cars" cars and only lets a select few play with them.  Ellie is one of the "select few".  Loved watching these two play together.

Long run.
