The last several weeks have been filled with various activities.  We've been watching Ethan play on his Jr. Jazz basketball team, celebrating birthdays, dancing, scouts, Odyssey of the Mind, watching the Olympics, as well as the other everyday activities.

One of the kids' favorite games to play is the Game of Life.  We have an interactive iPad/board game version that videos some of the "life happenings".  Ellie especially love, love, LOVES this game!!  She can often be found playing it all by herself.  What she loves is that she gets married AND has kids.  For a while now Ellie has said that she wants a big family, "like 15 kids".  She's always admiring big families we see out and about.  Anyhow, when she plays the game of life she loves to choose "the family path" and have as many kids as allowed.  Here is one of the MANY "wonderful Life' photos she has saved on the iPad.  (p.s. recently Ellie said that she actually only wants 3 kids).

Something else that has been a big topic at our house is that Ellie wants to be a teacher when she grows up.  Not an Elementary School teacher like mom, but a teacher who has a school in her house (preschool/daycare).  She looks through Denise's "magazines" to pick things out for her school.  She is always making plans for what her school is going to be like and what kind of rules she will have at her school.

Ethan's school had their annual class dance performance.  This year's theme was Just Dance.  With a new "Arts" teacher at the school the dances were a little different and all the students were SO excited.  Ethan played it cool and said "it was alright" but we could tell he enjoyed learning it.  His classes' dance was "Kung Fu Fighting", which was good since it was not too girly.

When the Bronco Men's Basketball team came to town we headed over to the Spectrum to watch.  As we arrived and were parking the car, we ran into none other than Kellen Moore.  We tried to hurry, park, and catch up to with him(thinking with the minimal Bronco fan base it would be easy for Ethan to get a signature), but had no such luck.

Recently we have had some nice, warm weather (40's) so we took the opportunity to get the wheels out.

Ethan got a new tie.
It's been awhile since he has warn one so I just to take a pic of the handsome little guy.
I love the pen in the pocket (just like dad)

Fun, just after the snow, canyon run.  I passed a few snowshoers who were breaking in a new trail which meant I got to break in the rest of the trail.

I LOVE making Valentine's Day fun for the kids.  Ellie LOVES Valentine's day and LOVES making valentines for everyone (she makes them year-round).  This year there was no school so we got to take the time to enjoy a yummy breakfast of pancakes, berries, and whipped cream.
Ellie was so excited to get her very own PINK roses from daddy.
