Extra Credit, Please?

One day as I was looking through Elisabeth's school work I found a page where they were focusing on "F"  They have to write words that start with the letter, draw a picture and write sentences.  Here is one of the words she wrote and her accompanying sentence.

After a session of laughter I sent a text to her teacher to apologize in case anyone was offended.

Elisabeth is a great partner to have when playing Pictionary.  She's an excellent artist and really good at guessing.

Spring Break

We had a busy Spring Break.  Before the break we were able to enjoy some nice Spring weather.  We were also treated with a visit from Grandma and Grandpa a few weeks before Spring Break

Taking in the sun on a nice afternoon hike.

On the hike we came across a fun rope swing so of course we took the time to play on it.

It's always a great time when Daisy comes to visit.  Elisabeth loves this dog!

During Spring Break we all headed up to Boise, with the exception of Dad who had to stay back and work.  We were able to go visit our friends Ace & Avery.

Ethan and Elisabeth had the opportunity to stay several days with Grandma and Grandpa while I went to visit my mom and sisters.
The kids had so much fun hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa.  They went fishing, visited the zoo, the candy store, the aquarium as well as many other fun activities.

It's a little easier to be away from the with the help of Facetime!

My sisters and I surprised my mom with a short little excursion to Gearhart by the Sea for her 63rd birthday.  Mom was having more Chemo treatments and was not up for a lot of activity, but she enjoyed the ocean from the room.  It was just great to be able to spend time with her.  Everyday I am so grateful for all of the time that we have had with my mom.  She continues to be a survivor showing so much strength and courage through all of this.

Kelly and I made our way to Boise to meet up with the kids in time for Easter and to Celebrate Kelly's birthday.  Unfortunately none of the other cousins were able to make it this year, but Ethan and Elisabeth still had a fun time hunting Easter Eggs and having all of Grandma and Grandpa's attention.

As is tradition, we forgot our Easter Baskets so we improvised with a Halloween Bucket.
