May 2024

The month of May started with a volleyball tournament. The last of the season.
Ellie continued to progress as a volleyball player and enjoyed a season with a few of her teammates from Ridgeline and learning from Coach Adna.

After a 10 year tradition, the Sole Sister perfect 10 ran for its 10th and final time.
This tradition started 10 years ago when a bunch of us were signed up for a race that ended up being canceled. Our dear friend Lee put together this run to make up. It has always occurred close to Mother's Day and has been run rain or shine. Grateful for the friendships that have come from this group.
We appear to be saying a prayer, but we are actually listening to a poem read by Lee.

Every year brought a new theme that related to the happenings at the time.

Throughout 2024 there seemed to be many opportunities for viewing the northern lights.
They seemed to be more visible through phone cameras than the natural eye.

Do you see it?

Saturday morning runs in May are beautiful

Full moon setting in early morning

One of our teachers had her adorable mini husky puppy at school and I had to send a picture to Ellie.

The sunset.

Over Memorial Day weekend we headed up to Twin Falls on Saturday to see Grandma and Grandpa Krohn.
We were able to go over and see the Shoshone falls which was quite full and beautiful.

Received some cards that we had given Great Grandma Larson over the years which included this master piece.

Happy Memorial Day 2024!

Ellie's last week of school fell after Memorial Day weekend this year.

April 2024

P day hiking adventure for Elder Krohn.
He has loved his area close to the mountains.

Giant Filipino spider. Ethan has sent several pictures of these ugly rascals.

For spring break we headed down south to St. George.
Warm and sun were so welcoming.

Riggs was happy to get to join us on vacay this time.

Walking the temple grounds.

We took a drive up Snow Canyon and found some short trails that we could take Riggs on.

Found a close to the road slot canyon to explore.

We enjoyed some pizza after a long wait. The first phone in order I realized I had called and put the order in at the wrong location. We had to laugh as this happened to Ethan a few years ago during a trip to Disney World. We later shared this information with Ethan so he could feel better for not being the only one to make such a mistake.

We returned home from St. George in time to celebrate Dad's 51st birthday.
Riggs loves celebrating and helping to blow out the candles.

beautiful Cache Valley

We had some warm weather in April.
Warm enough that with a little heat help the pool was warm enough for these brave girls to have a swim session. Hard to believe we were getting into the pool in April.
