Still Here!

However, I lost our camera case. Luckily the camera was not in it, but the adaptor cord for the computer was. I'm blaming the absentmindedness on pregnancy.

Speaking of pregancy, if you noticed the little counter on the side we have 11 days to go; give or take a few. We're just patiently waiting. Hopefully we'll have found the camera adaptor or replaced it by then to show off our little girl.

What else is new? Well. . . at the end of August Ethan started kickball. Yep, kickball. You have to be 5 years old for soccer and they warm up the 3 & 4 year olds with kickball. My opinion: for 3 & 4 year olds kickball requires a lot to remember. Offense; kick the ball, run to first base ("wait, that way is 3rd base"), wait patiently on 1st base until the next person kicks then run to 2nd (" run Johnny run, wait Johnny, stay on 2nd . ."). Defense: remember to get the ball if it comes to you, if the ball rolls past you run after it, once you get the ball run to the base to tag someone, don't throw it at someone's face when you're standing right in front of them. You get the picture. As you may have guessed the first game was quite entertaining. It was obvious who thought it might be helpful to practice with their child before the first game, those were the kids who knew what direction to run and what bases were. After a few weeks the little players have shown a lot of improvement, but still give moms and dads a few good laughs.

Ethan has also started school. This year is a little different for him. He no longer attends daycare so he goes 3 days a week, mornings only. He loves his new school and is happy to be with other kids again (mom's not always the best play mate). We are excited about his school because they do kindergarten as well as preschool and Ethan is in the kindergarten class.
