FIRST of the year FIESTA Fun for (almost) all!

We were able to start the New Year out in the sunny, 70 degree weather of Arizona. It was a refreshing break from the freezing cold inversion stuff we get to live with for the next several months. We got to spend time with family, soak in some sun, and watch Boise State win the Fiesta Bowl! This trip also brought a lot of firsts for many of us. Kelly went to his first NFL game, even though it may not have been the best of NFL games, he enjoyed it and the people watching.




BFF's: Simba and Brutis; got to experience being boarded for the first time.



This was Ethan and Ellie's first time to AZ. Ethan's favorite part of the trip was "the whole entire trip" and playing with "his cousins".

On Saturday we headed downtown and watched the Fiesta Parade.



This balloon was one of the few things that entertained Ellie. She happened to be getting some teeth and just wasn't feeling well most of the trip.

I finally took her to a doc; turns out she had her first (that we know of) ear infection. At least we got some meds and she was able to enjoy her last 2 days and not be miserable on the plane ride home. Plus, since she was feeling better I didn't feel guilty leaving her when we headed to . . . .

I always enjoy a close scoring game (not necessarily low scoring), the more of a nail biter, the better.
