And so, I would like to take credit (even if it is not due to me) in getting my husband into the thrill, excitement, a little obsessiveness, of running and training for races. Of course, I wouldn't have suggested go straight to the half marathon that goes up and then down a mountain, but hey now all the others will be a walk in the park, right? I love how after Kelly finished all he could talk about is wanting to do it again and how it sucks that it's a year away. . . . and that's what it's all about. . . .

Chez and I enjoyed the sun and waited for our men to get down the hill.
just coming around the last bend, almost to the finish line.
Waiting in long line for the bus a few HOURS AFTER finishing and partaking in the after race REFRESHments; these two do not look like they ran 13.1 miles up and then down a mountain. . . . . .crazy boys.

Another running husband...ah, we're in the same boat. I am not sure what to think some days though as Pat is now hooked on Ultras and the training is like the whole weekend! ugh! So, I think I'm going to do the Famous Potato Half...I have a team (to get a discount) at work if you want to join in or just sign up on your own -if you're ready by then! :)
ok, just a little clarification here for those who are curious....it didnt take me 4 hrs + to do this race. I'm trying to figure out why Lindsey posted this picture instead of a different one...... :) wondering if she feels threatened by my athleticism
