Halloween

This year Halloween was spread over several days. We started with Ethan's class party planned by yours truly (I have the wonderful opportunity to be his class's "room mom" . . . .can you hear the sarcasm. No, I'm glad I get to do this for him; if I ever go back to teaching I won't have that chance). Well my first assignment wasn't the greatest since I FORGOT the camera.

Later we headed over to dad's office for some trick or treating. Ellie caught on to the "trick or treating" real quick after the first piece of candy hit her bucket.


Then that evening we had the Stettlers over and carved some JaCk-O-lAnTeRnS.








We took the kids out Saturday evening for some neighborhood trick or treating in the rain. Apparently it's common knowledge that when Halloween falls on Sunday in these parts it's celebrated on Saturday. . . . good thing we asked some people. We bought more candy for Sunday night, thinking we'd get a few treaters; not ONE.

We had to hide Ellie's candy due to her need to throw a fit every few minutes when we would NOT let her have more candy. Ethan continues to pace himself well allowing his candy to llllaaaasssstttt.
