Happy Birthday Ethan

Ethan turned 12 years old.
I say it every year, but I cannot believe how fast this guy is growing up.  It seriously seems like last year that he was two years old amazing us with all of the new words he was learning.  Now, he's old enough to babysit his little sister :-).

Birthday breakfast - bacon, waffles, strawberries and whipped cream.  Also, notice the blanket he has wrapped around him.  Every morning this is how he comes to breakfast, wrapped up in a blanket.  This blanket he has had since he was a baby.

Birthday Dinner choice was Buffalo Wild Wings - Ethan's favorite.

Over the last few years he has just taken one friend to do a fun activity.  This year he wanted to take a group to the jump zone.  We headed over late morning for some fun at the jump zone and then headed home for some pizza (breadsticks for Eboy) and ice cream cake.

After his birthday, Grandma and Grandpa Krohn came up to be a part of Ethan receiving the Priesthood and being ordained a Deacon.  We are so proud of this young man.  He is so responsible and has one of the strongest testimonies of the Gospel I know.  It brought tears to my eyes the first Sunday her started passing the sacrament.  Ethan took on the challenge of completing all of the requirements to receive his Faith in God Award.

Ethan is the typical oldest child.  He's incredibly responsible and trustworthy.  Ethan always looks out for his little sister and of course he also knows best how to annoy her.  Ethan is creative, smart, caring, a great friend to everyone, a gentleman, and a motivated, energetic athlete.  He always does his best in all he sets out to do.

Here are Ethan's Stats for 2016:
