Nothing says the end of the school year like the Woodruff Wildcat Run.
Ellie was so excited for this year's race.
Ellie wanted me to run with her.
When it was time to start Ellie ran her little heart out. She would run hard and then walk a while to catch her breath and then run again. When we were about three quarters of the way done she complained that it was so hard and she was so tired. I talked her through it and she finished the race.
So proud of this girl!
Ellie was one of 4 students who earned the Citizenship Award for her class.
She started the year out very shy, but as the year went on she got more and more comfortable and really came out of her shell. Her teacher said she is so impressed with how Ellie truly listens to everything she says. She said she can tell that Ellie really "thinks" about things (I'd say almost too much at times). So proud of the progress this little girl has made throughout the school year.
At his end of year assembly Ethan earned some great rewards as well. He too earned a Citizenship Award as well as an Art Achievement Award. Ethan has done amazing in middle school this year. All of the classes, assignments, and other projects as well as the changing between 7 different classes was no problem for him. He loved having the variety it brought.
For me it was hard to get use to not knowing everything going on in his school.
We are so proud of all that this kid has accomplished this year!
