Kelly and I started the day celebrating our country's birthday with an organized run down the canyon in the local 15K race called the Freedom Run.
Several of my running buddies ran it as well.
Fun ladies I ran the race with.
Great job to us!
After the race Kelly headed to work and the kids and I went to the local parade. We took cute little Cooper. It was SO hot. Even under the small umbrella's shade.
Cooper and I ended up leaving curbside and finding a less crowded shay tree to watch from afar.
After a day's work Kelly came home for a freedom nap with the puppy.
Making a yummy dessert for the day.
That night we didn't have to go anywhere for fireworks. The culdesac behind our house puts on an amazing 4th of July fireworks show. Elisabeth continues to be deathly afraid of fireworks (particularly the sound) so her and I watched from my bedroom window. Ethan and Kelly went over for the show.
She still plugs her ears, even in the house. LOL
