More Fall Fun

October was filled with lots of fun fall activities.
Ellie's dance class participated in the Utah State Homecoming parade.  She was super excited to ride on the float and be in the parade.

Everything is better with a friend and Elisabeth is so grateful to have her friend Jessi be in her same dance class and get to do so many fun things together.

Got this with a chocolate one day.
Speaks to me!

A conference in SLC makes for a fun run with new, but familiar running routes.
Love the beauty and quiet in the early morning hours around Temple Square

Ethan participated in the region cross country meet.
It was super cold this day, but he had one of his best runs.
Great way to wrap up his season of cross country.  So proud of the hard work this guy put into his running and all of the progress he made.

It was just Ellie and me getting pumpkins this year.

Fall running adventures are always fun.

Beautiful Blacksmith Fork Canyon

Sunsets, did I mention I love them

This disgusting spider was hanging from its web during a morning walk with the dog.  Kelly almost walked right into it.  Gulp!

Beautiful Prov Canyon in the fall

Elisabeth is on student council this year.  I happened to be able to snap a picture of Elisabeth as she was about to do the school morning announcements.  She did an amazing job despite being a little nervous.

Taking selfies with mom's phone again

Ellie's fall soccer team.  She had a lot of fun playing rec soccer again and of course loved having her BFF Jessi on her team.

We headed to Boise during Fall Break to take in a Boise State game.  This was Ellie's first game in person.  She was SO SO anxious about the cannon going off after Boise scored.  We are really concerned about the amount of anxiety she has with loud noises.  After she finally heard that the cannon was not very loud she was able to settle down and enjoy herself.

Sunrise, just as lovely as sunsets

Ethan's competitive team.
Most of these boys have played together for several years.  They had a tough season, worked under a new coach, and had to adjust with new teammates.  They did their best, made lots of improvements and are now getting ready for high school soccer.  Most of them go to the same high school.

Fun with friends.

Afternoon on the Blacksmith River Trail.

These kids always complain about going out for an "easy" hike, but once we get them out of the house they always enjoy themselves.
