Disney's Epcot

April 6th, 2021
2nd day of parks
Epcot

Epcot opened a few hours later which gave us time sleep in as well as get in a little run around the resort and take in some fun views.

Epcot is the park showcasing many cultures and countries around the world.  I heard this a fun park for experiencing food from around the world as well.  We were here during the Flower and Food festival so there were some extra food places around.
So beautiful!!!

First country, England.

The plan was to go to the Test Track ride first thing.  We were part of the big group speed walking our way there only to be disappointed by it's shut down when we got there.  So on to plan B and we made our way (with everyone else) to the Frozen Ride.  Ethan watched the wait times and it said it was pretty short, however by the time we got there the line was quite long.  We ended up staying in line and waiting.  Luckily much of the area was still in the shade.  Had we waited for later in the day we would not have been so lucky.  The nice thing was that while we waited we enjoyed some empanadas and tacos from one of the food places.  Oh and we admired the beautiful gardens.

Mickey & Minnie sighting!

The wait time for this was supposedly very short.  We got in line and it was quite long.  We enjoyed a little Latin America.

The iconic Epcot symbol

Still waiting for Test Track to open back up, we headed to Spaceship Earth.
It was pretty cool and we learned a lot from the ride.

On to France.
Part of this area was closed due to finishing the construction on the new ride, Ratatouille.
We didn't try any French delicacies due to the busyness of the area, but we enjoyed the gardens.

Princess sighting.

Next up, Morocco.
Our little artist taking in the atmosphere and taking note through sketches.

The tourist

and then Japan where we tried some fruit sushi.

and then Italy

We eventually got to ride the test track ride.  We also walked all over trying to find some dinner.  A few months later and I don't recall what we ate or how we ended this evening.

Night view of the Riviera Resort walking back to our room.
