When your artistic talents/ability provide a payout!
The beginning of February started with a busy weekend of events. In an art class Ethan's teacher highly encouraged him to enter an art/marketing campaign contest. He won at the school and district level and was then invited to USU as he was a finalist for state reward and recognition which included prize money.
It turned out that he was a winner and was awarded $200.
The same day was a volleyball tournament for Ellie. Kelly and I did the divide and conquer in supporting our awesome kids. Ellie's tournament was in Ogden. She is improving every time I see her play in games. I love that she loves playing this sport.
That evening was Jr. Prom. This year is the year of lasts for Ethan.
Of course there were tears from yours truly in this occasion.
Of course his darling date was Keslie.
Immediately following prom, Ethan was pulled over and issued a ticket.
Hair cut, keeping the length.
Numbers are cool.
When a date ends up being something like this one has got to do something for it.
At the school I work at we had twin day where students dress up as twins, teachers did as well. Every hour on the 22nd minute there was some kind of fun thing or treat that was announced on the intercom.
Some of my friends and I got up early and did a run for 2.22 miles (x 2) in our tutus in a route the shape of two 2's.
and it was 22 degrees outside
Too much fun!!
Ellie and I attended our ward Family history carnival. Family history is always so fun and fascinating to me. We learned some great information on ways we can do more family history and also learned that we are distantly related to many people in our neighborhood.
Best buds
A Dutch Bros opened up in Logan.
Cooper enjoyed his own "puppaccino"
New cover for our (new to us) car.
Proud of Ellie making it on to the Honor roll for her first semester.
