With the 4th of July landing in the middle of the week we stayed close to home to celebrate. The night before we joined friends and watched the Fireworks in Logan.
The morning of the 4th Kelly ran the Freedom Run 15K. Even after taking about 5 or so weeks off from running due to an injury, Kelly kept a great pace and earned a fourth place finish. Way to Go! The kids and I sat at the top of the energy sucking hill to cheer him on to the finish.
Later we enjoyed some more festivities.

The kids LOVE the local parades, mainly because of all the candy that is thrown out.
That night we watch more community fire works. Due to the dry season and all of the fires around the state our town prohibited all fireworks within city limits so we did not get to have our own this year.
