Before you know it. . .

it's 3 days before Christmas.

This year we've had the pleasure of hosting Dexter.  He was sent from the North Pole and plans on staying a few more days.  From my understanding it's a popular trend for households to host an elf during the month leading up to Christmas.  The kids have had a lot of fun waking up every morning and looking to see where Dexter has decided to hang out for the day.  Luckily we do not have a naughty elf who leaves messes for us to clean up. ; )



We've continued the tradition of 12 days of Christmas.  Some fun activities we've enjoyed doing together include making ornaments, going on a Christmas light scavenger hunt, making snowflakes, reading books, eating treats, watching a movie, and making gingerbread houses:
