One DECADE!

 
Our sweet boy turned 10 years old!  

That's one decade. . . . 

double digits . . . . 

whatever you call it, it's unbelievable.  

Seems like yesterday we brought our precious little boy home with us and our life as we knew it became that much fuller.

Ethan is such an amazing boy.  He's smart, thoughtful, caring, empathetic, focused, a hard worker, fun-loving, and just all around incredible.  He's always doing his best to be respectful and always remembers his please and thank you's.  We watch him with his sister and when he plays on the different teams and he is always trying to motivate and compliment others.  We constantly have people telling us what a great kid he is and how well behaved he is.  He's definitely a kid who wants to please others.  Ethan loves (good) surprises and goes out of his way to do nice things for those he cares about, always wanting to make them happy.  He's observant, paying attention to the little things.  Kelly and I constantly talk about how impressed we are with him and the kind of boy he has turned out to be.  We love you Ethan more than you can imagine!!!

CELEBRATING 10

On Ethan's Birthday we served him his favorite:  BACON and pancakes, fruit, etc.  He had school and then his Odyssey of the Mind meeting so for dinner we headed to the restaurant of his choice:  Texas Roadhouse (2nd year in a row) so he could enjoy his favorite:  peanuts & STEAK!  and of course a sit on the saddle to get a Texas YeeeeHaaaaawww!  

Afterward we headed home for some cake and ice cream.
