No superstitions here. When it's Friday the 13th and it's your birthday then it's the luckiest day of the year right? What about when you're turning 13 on Friday the 13th?
Ethan's birthday fell on Friday this year.
We started the day with a baker's dozen of balloons to great him to a breakfast of bacon and waffles. Then he sugared up with his car pool pals with some old fashioned cake donuts from Johnny O's.
After school he had his favorite dinner of tacos and then instead of a traditional cake Ethan requested chocolate lasagna.
Because of the busy weekday nights, Ethan wanted to celebrate with his family (that's us) at Toad's fun center playing arcade games, lazer tag and mini-golf. Afterward he was able to go to a store he heard about from a friend where he could get pieces for his Lego Movies. The store was called BAM! and had quite the interesting crowd of customers we noticed.
Happy Birthday to this amazing kid, I mean teenager.
What an incredible young man he is.
