I wonder if everything should include -"during corona" in its title.
For Easter this year we did the traditional egg dyeing, because the kids wanted to and it's tradition.
We were sad to not be able to go to Boise like we usually do for Easter and spend time with extended family. It was also strange to not attend church even though we have been able to have our own little lesson focused on the Savior and be able to have Sacrament at home. This has been such a spiritual experience (aside from the awkward giggles we had to get through a few times). It was super strange to do, but the spirit we have felt has been so special. We were grateful for the beautiful Holy Week videos provided by the church and the resources we have to be able to think about our Savior and the ultimate sacrifice he gave for all of God's children.
Of course we had to have an Easter Egg hunt. The weather wasn't great so we set up a scavenger egg hunt for the kids.
First they had to find the first egg with the first clue.
Once they found the first clue they figured out the riddle and then moved on.
Eventually the clues led them to finding their Easter baskets full of too much sugar.
K & C's Sunday nap
Getting out for a walk overlooking the beautiful valley.
