First formal dance since the canceled Prom last spring. Ethan asked one of his cute friends Emma to Homecoming. The first night of the weekend event started Friday evening with a dinner of pizza at our house, the homecoming football game and then a game of lazer tag at a Woodruff Elementary. One of his friend's dad works in the district and has keys to all of the schools and Ethan was happy that he had an advantage of knowing the workings of the building since that was his elementary school.
The next day they got together for pictures and then dinner at another of the boy's house then they headed to the dance which because of COVID was sponsored by parents and held at someone's residence.
Yes, there was an increase of COVID numbers in our end of the valley after this event. Of course this increase can be due to all of the high school events not just the homecoming dance.
