Jr. Prom fell on March 13th this year.
Ethan went with his date, Keilani, and a few of his other friends. Their day date consisted of going to an escape room (50's theme) and lunch/snacks after.
After pictures the group came to our house for dinner, they headed to the dance which was at Castle Manor and after they came back for dessert.
The theme of the prom was Frank Sinatra inspired Fly Me to the Moon.
Sadly we have no pictures from the actual prom.

Between their day date and dinner, the group met up at the university for pictures.
In addition to going to school and working, my classroom aide Jerikah does photography. She's been wanting to build her portfolio so she agreed to take the kids' prom pictures and she did a fabulous job.

It was a very brisk evening and just downright cold by the end of the photo session.

The next dance was not very long after prom and the Monday after jr. prom Ethan came home to an invitation to the Sweethearts' dance.
The prom was actually a parent sponsored thing because schools have not been putting on dances due to COVID. Shortly before prom, Ridgeline announced that they would be sponsoring two school dances: Sweetheart's dance (girls ask guys) and the Senior Ball. I guess they weren't too concerned about the time between dances. The girls do not waist time asking the boys, I guess they want to be sure to get their preferred date.
He said yes.
