The next day we all got to attend our first Major League Baseball game.
First we had to go shop and get the right fan gear.
This little cutie brought Slushy (which she bought with some of her money from Lola), of course he had to stay in the car during the game.
Taking the commuter train to the game was an adventure in itself.
Busch Stadium
Love these three!!
Cutest Cardinal fan Ever!!
Of course it was one of the hottest days of the week (and every day was the hottest ever). So hot and humid. We had amazing seats thanks to Nathaniel, but there wasn't much of a breeze so we were all a sweaty mess afterward, but despite that we had . . . . . So much fun!!
Elisabeth really got into the game and loved music, the chants and the atmosphere
UNTIL the HOME RUN and the fireworks went off.
It was a whole other story from there. She was so stressed about when the next set of fireworks would go off. I told her they would only go off if the Cardinals made another home run, but it was common for them to have a lot of home runs in one game. Because of this she watched the game intently and paid special attention to when the Cardinals were up to bat to see if they were going to have a home run. It took her several innings to believe me that there would not be a bunch of fireworks.
Love this kid!!
Daddy's girl
We were HOT, we were SWEATY, the Cardinals lost to the Miami Marlins, but we all still had a great day at the ball park.
