Krohn Family Reunion at Downata

Despite COVID we were still able to have the Krohn Family reunion.  This year was the 2nd time for the location to be at Downata Hot Springs just north of Preston, Idaho and only about an hour from where we live.  The kids were super excited to see family.  Not only have we been sticking close to home since January, they have not seen their cousins for even longer.

Aunt Maria is always great about having fun activities planned for all of the kids.  Her and Uncle Nate led everyone in making their own water bottle rockets (not sure if there is another name for these).  Everyone had fun creating and launching their bottles.

All of the cousins together with the exception of the two oldest, Bailey and Isaac, who have moved into adult life.  Time sure goes by way too fast.

Naturally there were a ton of pictures taken to get at least one or two with everyone looking.  We also tried for silly faces.

The Krohn Siblings

I like the sneaky photo bombers in this one.

The kids had a fun day in and out of the hot pool.
I wonder how long the teenagers will be entertained with all of this.  They already take several hours to even talk to one another before they are all friends and laughing and hanging out together.

Spent two nights together and on the 2nd night we enjoyed some smores by the campfire and listened to nearby campers karoke.  The house we stayed in had a huge gathering area perfect for all of the kids to each have their own pullout beds to sleep.

The morning of checkout we were privileged to be entertained by Coy and Aunt Maria singing a little Bon Jovi, "Livin' on a Prayer"  Coy was totally into it.

Such a fun weekend spending time with family and enjoying one another's company.  I love seeing the kids making memories with their cousins and hearing the giggles and laughs.  Before leaving Ellie and Cache were sitting on the chairs in tears laughing at something.  They would not share what was so incredibly funny, but it lasted for quite awhile.  I loved hearing their uncontrollable laughter every time we asked what was so funny.
