Twas a few days before school starting and the class lists were hung on the front doors.
Even though I can just tell Ellie who her teacher is, she still likes to go check the lists on the front door and see who is in her class for the year.
The district that I work in has Kindergarten through 5th grade in the elementary schools, then 6-8th at the middle school and 9-12 is high school. The district we live in has K-6th in the elementary school, 7-8th middle school and then 9-12th high school.
This means that this is the last year for Ellie to be in the same school where I work, but will not be her last year in elementary. We will have her attend our neighborhood elementary for 6th grade which will be good to allow her to make some friends before heading to middle school.

Yay for last year of car pooling as well.
This is our carpool group until January when Ethan gets his license.
I told them that all the moms wanted me to take a picture so I want them all to line up outside the car so I can take it. One of them responded in an annoyed voice "Really?" and none of them stopped to get a picture taken. LOL
Thank you for at least looking back Ethan.
I still get teary eyed on the first day watching him walk in. Still can't believe this kid is in high school.
